A quick couple examples of the sickness that infests our western (media) culture. The first is a greeting card. Yes, a greeting card. Somehow the stupid bastards at Carlton Cards (of Cleveland and Toronto) thought that the following card was in some way funny. That ‘crimes against humanity’ are an appropriate subject for levity. |

The second example is a political editorial cartoon, published in my local paper. On Veterans Day, no less. It depicts a toppled statue of ‘Rummy’, a man who has rendered repeated service to this Nation, with his own military service, his first stint as SecDef in the 70s and his return and extended service as SecDef under George W. Bush. A dishonorable ‘cartoon’, especially on this day. |

Both of these strike me as examples of the juvenile sniggering mindset of the Left in this nation. Routine efforts to tear down any precepts of Duty or Decency. To make light of important matters, to tear away at the foundations of our society. Nihilism. |
